The management of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The institution invited suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its various undergraduate programmes to begin the online registration process through the university’s admission portal.
According to the university, candidates who selected OAUSTECH as their first-choice institution during the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 150 are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Applicants who initially chose another institution or selected OAUSTECH as a second-choice university have been advised to process a change of institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and make OAUSTECH their first choice before applying. The same requirement applies to Direct Entry candidates.
Admission Requirements
The university stated that all applicants must possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
The required credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings for most programmes.
However, candidates applying for Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health are required to present their O’Level results in a single sitting.
Applicants are also expected to upload their academic credentials to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), including results from examinations such as WAEC, NECO, GCE, IJMB, JUPEB, and National Diploma programmes where applicable.
In addition, prospective students must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, to qualify for admission consideration.
Special Cut-Off Marks for Health Science Courses
OAUSTECH announced separate admission requirements for some health-related programmes.
Candidates seeking admission into Nursing Science and Medical Laboratory Science must have obtained a minimum score of 200 in the 2026 UTME.
Applicants for Public Health are required to score at least 180.
The university disclosed that candidates applying for Nursing Science will participate in a Post-UTME examination scheduled for September 30, 2026.
Dates for the screening exercises for Medical Laboratory Science and Public Health candidates will be announced later.
Registration Fee and Application Process
The Post-UTME screening fee has been fixed at ₦2,000.
The university noted that payment should be made online using a valid ATM card through the official admission portal.
Applicants are required to create an account using their UTME or Direct Entry registration number and complete all registration stages carefully.
